CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A juvenile male was injured in a shooting on Treyway Lane, leading to the arrest of another juvenile, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Treyway Lane at 10:10 p.m. on March 12, 2026, after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a juvenile male with a gunshot wound and provided first aid. Several individuals at the scene were detained for questioning.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were called to the scene due to the nature of the incident. Following their investigation, a juvenile male was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The police confirmed that the parties involved were known to each other and that the incident occurred inside a residence.
The injured juvenile was transported to a local hospital and is in critical but stable condition. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
