LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Family Promise of Lubbock will host the 2026 Hub City Hoedown on April 18 at 6 p.m. at the National Ranching Heritage Center.
The event features dinner, a silent auction, live music and mechanical bull riding, with proceeds benefiting the organization’s work with families experiencing homelessness.

Texas Tech University Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt is scheduled to serve as keynote speaker. KCBD’s Kase Wilbanks and Christy Hartin will emcee the event.
What to expect
Dinner will be provided by Chef Tony with Claraboya. A silent auction will also be held during the evening.
Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsors will have access to a VIP hour with Texas Tech Athletics, including select coaches and players.
Mechanical bull riding will be available during the event.
