Three hospitalized after stabbing on CapMetro bus in Austin

Three people were taken to a hospital — including one with critical injuries — after a stabbing on a Capital Metro bus, authorities said.

Austin police said a man has been detained in connection with the attack, which occurred in the 2000 block of South Lamar Boulevard.

Officials said it was not immediately clear whether the third person involved was a suspect or a victim.

A second victim was in serious condition but did not have life-threatening injuries, officials said.
