AUSTIN, Texas — The cast of CBS’ show “Marshals” is in Austin for South by Southwest this week, celebrating a series premiere that drew more than 20 million viewers. It has also been renewed for a second season, CBS announced.
Luke Grimes, Arielle Kebell, Ash Santos and Brecken Merrill participated in a panel Friday at the Film & TV Club House at 800 Congress Ave.
The March 1 premiere was watched by 20.6 million multiplatform viewers within seven days, CBS said.

The show stars Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton from the “Yellowstone” universe, now joining an elite unit of U.S. Marshals in Montana. It is the first broadcast network series set in the “Yellowstone” universe.
Paramount also has a lodge at Clive Bar, 609 Davis St., during SXSW.
“Marshals” airs Sundays at 7 p.m. CT on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
