AUSTIN, Texas — Travelers continue to wait in long lines at the Austin airport Saturday morning, this coming a day after AUS said it expected over 35,000 passengers to depart from the terminal on Friday.
The airport says that they are continuing to see “longer than usual lines” for TSA security screening at all checkpoints.
The airport asks passengers to get to the airport early for their departure, and to be prepared to wait for screening.

Passenger lines at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport stretched outside the terminal on Friday morning as spring break travel collided with South By Southwest travel.
