Hundreds expected at fourth annual Eva Strong Memorial Run in Uvalde

UVALDE, Texas — Hundreds of people are expected to attend the fourth annual Eva Strong Memorial Run today.

Eva Mireles was one of two teachers killed at Robb Elementary in 2022. She loved CrossFit and all things active.

Eva’s husband and daughter organize this run each year. Eva’s daughter, Adalynn, ran the race nine months pregnant in 2024.

There is a 1-mile run/walk for kids, a 5K, and a 10K offered. The money raised goes toward the Eva Strong Memorial Fund, a scholarship for Uvalde students.
