HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Two homes and a car were damaged after a fire broke out in a southeast Houston neighborhood on Saturday morning, witnesses said.

According to neighbors, the fire started around 4:30 a.m. near Sharondale and Bellfort.

Video shared with ABC13 shows multiple fire crews responding to the scene as flames and smoke emanated from a home’s roof.

One neighbor said they feared the fire was going to spread to their home, too.

ABC13 crews reported that one home appeared to be a total loss, while another home and a car were damaged.

ABC13 has reached out to the Houston Fire Department to learn whether anyone was injured.
