Kendall Prowell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn’t tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Plano West got a massive performance out of Brooke Reasoner, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Abby Jennings was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Plano West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That’s the best OBP they’ve posted all season.
