The Oregonian/OregonLive sports staff returns with its picks for Week 9 of the 2025 college football season.

While Oregon State has a bye this week, the No. 6 Oregon Ducks will host the Wisconsin Badgers at Autzen Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Fans are encouraged to “tie-dye out” as Oregon dons its all-black “Grateful Ducks” uniforms for the game.

The SEC sizzles with three ranked matchups this weekend, beginning with a marquee showdown between No. 8 Ole Miss and No. 13 Oklahoma on Saturday morning. Later on, No. 15 Missouri will aim to contain No. 10 Vanderbilt on the Commodores’ own turf, and No. 3 Texas A&M travels to Baton Rouge to take on No. 20 LSU.
