FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Texas Tech indoor track and field team wrapped up the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center Saturday night.

The women’s team finished eighth overall scoring 21 points. The men placed 14th scoring 17 points.

Temitope Adeshina secured Tech’s first of two national titles Saturday evening and her second-straight high jump title. Adeshina cleared 1.97m (6-5 ½) as she was the only athlete to clear 1.94m (6-4 ¼) and 1.97m on her first try. She bowed out of the competition attempting the collegiate record, 2.00m (6-6 ¾).

Jonathan Seremes, defended his triple jump title, winning it on his final bound. Seremes, who’s best jump before his last was 16.86m (55-3 ¾), landed in the sand at 17.25m (56-7 ¼) for the victory and new school record. The top mark before that was KSU’s Selva Prabhu who was leading with a mark of 17.05m (55-11 ¼). Seremes is the second Red Raider all-time to win a triple jump title – Bryce Lamb, 2013. Lamb’s mark in that meet was 16.96m (55-7 ¾), a school record he shared with Seremes up until today.

Tamiah Washington and Ruta Lasmane highlighted the women’s triple jump as both Red Raiders scored in the top 4. Washington placed third with a mark SB mark of 13.70m (44-11 ½). Lasmane placed fourth with a mark of 13.69m (44-11). Lasmane ends her collegiate career with seven overall First Team All-American honors in the event – four alone indoors.

Malachi Snow started his day placing fourth in the 60m sprint with a time of 6.57 – he placed seventh last year at the meet running 6.59. Just a little over an hour later, he finished seventh in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.56.

Notables

·       Evelyn Lavielle finished 10th in the high jump clearing 1.85m (6-0 ¾).

·       Bradford Jennings finished 13th in the high jump clearing 2.15m (7-0 ½).

·       Grace Oshiokpu placed 9th in the triple jump leaping 13.29m (43-7 ¼).
