KANSAS CITY, MO (KVOA) – Arizona Men’s Basketball has won the Big 12 Title in Kansas City Saturday night.
The Wildcats defeated the Houston Cougars 79-74 to win the Big 12 Championship.
Brayden Burries and Koa Peat each had 21 points in the victory. Jayden Bradley added 13.
Burries sealed the game for the Wildcats with two late free throws.
Fans cheered on the Wildcats at Corbett’s near Downtown Tucson.
The Wildcats now await their destination to begin the NCAA Tournament. Arizona’s first tournament game will either be Thursday or Friday.
The team will find out where they play in the opening weekend of March Madness on Sunday afternoon.
