SAN ANTONIO – An elderly woman was attacked and robbed of her money outside her West side home after coming home from the bank.
The incident occurred around 10:10 am, Saturday morning, in the 10300 block of Lion Chase.
According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the woman claimed she withdrew money from a local bank for an upcoming trip, drove home, and was approached by the alleged suspect as she arrived at her residence.
Investigators say an unknown man exited a silver SUV, pushed the woman to the ground, and grabbed two envelopes containing the cash she withdrew before leaving the scene.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries and the suspect remains at large.
