EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Monster Jam drivers are bringing some high-powered fun to pediatric patients at El Paso Children’s Hospital ahead of this weekend’s Monster Jam events at UTEP Sun Bowl Stadium.

Drivers Bari Musawwir, who drives Zombie, Tyler Menninga, who drives Grave Digger, and Cory Rummell, the driver of Bailey Circuit, visited with patients at the hospital, aiming to lift spirits before heading to the dirt for the weekend show.

Speaking to KFOX14/CBS4 on Thursday, Menninga said he was excited to help put a smile on kids’ faces.

“Man, it’s been awesome, you know we spent the last couple hours here at the Children’s Hospital and you know just walking through and putting smiles on kids’ faces…”

For families facing long hospital stays, the visit also brought a welcome boost.

Sylvia Arambula, the mother of a patient, told KFOX14/CBS4, “My son, he’s an oncology patient, and you know sometimes we, well, we were admitted, and this lifts their spirits up.”

During the visit, patients were able to meet the drivers, take photos, get autographs, and participate in a coloring activity.

In addition, as part of the visit, the brand-new 12,000-pound Bailey Circuit Monster Jam truck was on display at the hospital for patients to see up close.

The truck is inspired by Ringling’s robotic pup and is described as the latest addition to Monster Jam’s fleet through a collaboration between The Greatest Show On Earth and Monster Jam.

Monster Jam is scheduled for March 14-15, 2026, at UTEP Sun Bowl Stadium.
