The Philadelphia Eagles and tight end Dallas Goedert agreed to terms on a one-year contract, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Sunday.

Goedert’s new deal comes after the sides twice pushed back the void date that would have made him a free agent, allowing more time for negotiations before another team could swoop in and lure away the longtime Eagle.

Rapoport and Garafolo added that the Eagles were managing the situations with Goedert and A.J. Brown, who has been the subject of trade rumors, simultaneously over the last week due to needing to work within the salary cap, and that Brown’s situation remains fluid.

A second-round pick by Philly in 2018, Goedert has contributed 409 catches for 4,676 yards and 35 touchdowns over eight seasons with the team.

Around the NFL will have more shortly.
