McDonald’s is rebooting its value menu to help financially strapped consumers. The country’s largest fast-food chain says it’s going to launch its long-time “McValue” menu items and re-design some deals to help consumers who feel priced out when buying a basic fast-food meal.
“McValue 2.0” will feature three-dollar items and four-dollar meal deals. The new items will replace “buy-one-add-one” sales deals.
The move comes on the heels of last year’s successful five-dollar meal deals that helped bring customer traffic back to the stores.
The McValue 2.0 menu will roll out in April.
