Investigators said the victim was walking north on Bauman when someone got out of the car and opened fire before taking off.
HOUSTON — Police on Monday released a new photo they say shows the vehicle of a suspect in a deadly shooting that happened in north Houston this weekend.
The Houston Police Department said officers responded to a shooting call on Bauman Road near East Sunnyside Street around 11:15 a.m. Sunday. When they got to the scene, they found a 24-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Â
HPD has not yet released the victim’s identity.
Investigators said the victim was walking north on Bauman when someone got out of the car, which HPD described as a 2007-2012 Nissan Altima, and opened fire before taking off.
HPD said the car had a dent around the back wheel frame.
