Texas football recently welcomed another young recruit with strong family ties to football.

New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson took his stepson, Future, on his first campus visit to the Forty Acres.

In a video of the pair driving around campus, the veteran NFL quarterback asked Future what he thought of the visit to UT.

“I love Texas. This school is great, I love the stadium,” the 11-year-old said with a smile while looking out the window at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

The video compilation posted on social media showed Future touring the football facility and posing for a photo with Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian throwing the ‘Horns Up’ inside DKR. But the young football player got more than a football visit.

Wilson is married to singer and Texas native Ciara. Future is her son from a previous relationship with rapper Future.
