For the first time ever, the Dallas County Master Gardener Association will host the Spring Garden Tour in our neighborhood.
The 2026 tour will include five private home gardens in a variety of sizes and styles, plus two Oak Cliff Park gardens, according to a press release.
“As a long-time resident of Lake Cliff Park, I am so excited that the Dallas County Master Gardener Association is bringing approximately 1,000 garden lovers into Oak Cliff, many for the first time,” tour chairman Hank Hammet said. “I can’t wait for them to experience our natural beauty, gorgeous topography, beautifully cared-for gardens and parks, plus our amazing restaurants, bars and shops, our welcoming neighborhoods, and the very special and inclusive Oak Cliff community. I know our ticket holders will have a fantastic experience on the day of the tour and keep coming back to enjoy our area.”

All seven gardens on the tour are owned or managed by Master Gardeners who will be on hand during the event to answer questions and share about their garden’s development and design with specific plant lists available, highlighting the native, adapted, and/or exotic plants used.
This year’s featured gardens each include a different theme with educational programs conducted throughout the tour, including:
Shady and Sunny Natives
Pollinators: How to ID and Support Them
Butterflies Make Your Garden Happy!
Insects: Pest vs Beneficial
Native and Adaptive Plants
