EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — As El Paso braces for the impact of mass detention and mass deportations, Bishop Mark J. Seitz of the Diocese of El Paso delivered a pastoral message aimed at people across the community, including migrants, their families, U.S. citizens and law enforcement.

The message was released Sunday at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in El Paso.

The diocese said it is the first pastoral letter released by a Catholic bishop on the topic of mass detention and mass deportations in El Paso.
