For just $8, diners can choose from a rotating lineup of flavors at Barrel & Bones
A viral drink sensation that has been dominating social media is finally heading to North Texas. After building buzz nationwide, the soft serve margarita has officially made its debut in Dallas.
Barrel & Bones claimed the title of the first spot in North Texas to serve the viral soft-serve margarita, bringing a nostalgic, ice-cream-like texture to the classic frozen drink.
Located on Inwood Road, the restaurant is bridging the gap for local fans who, until now, had to settle for watching the trend unfold on TikTok at spots like Cleveland’s now-famous La Playa Mexican Food.
From Viral Trend To Dallas Staple
The soft-serve margarita is a sophisticated reimagining of the traditional frozen cocktail. Rather than the coarse, icy consistency of a standard margarita, this version mimics the smooth, velvety texture of soft serve.
For just $8, diners can choose from a rotating lineup of fruit-forward flavors, including mango, passion fruit, peach and strawberry.
The Dallas Girl Dinner Debut
Beyond the soft-serve machines, the Inwood Road location is leaning further into TikTok culture with the launch of its exclusive $19.99 “Dallas Girl Dinner.” Designed as a curated, hassle-free night out for groups, the bundle includes:
The Starter: A choice of a half wedge, Caesar or house side salad.
The Side: A serving of savory truffle fries.
The Sip: A choice of a classic martini (espresso, dirty or lemon drop) or — of course — the new soft-serve margarita.
A Neighborhood Exclusive
While Barrel & Bones has multiple locations across the region, these specific offerings are currently exclusive to the Dallas location at 12300 Inwood Rd. With both the “Girl Dinner” special and the debut of the soft serve margarita, the Inwood location is leaning into social media–inspired dining trends that are drawing curious diners.
