HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Emergency repairs on a loose expansion joint caused delays on the westbound lanes of I-10 Katy Freeway near Campbell Road on Tuesday, according to TxDOT.
TxDOT said crews are currently at the scene where SkyEye captured video of them working to fix the joint, which had popped up on the pavement along the freeway.
According to TxDOT, three outbound lanes are impacted at this time.
As of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, TxDOT said it hopes to have the damage repaired “within the hour.”
