Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hosts a lucrative podcast, has invested in F1 racing and a Kansas City steakhouse and has starred in commercials for State Farm and Bud Light. Now, the football star is the new ambassador for a brand beloved by Texans: Six Flags.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the parent company for the Six Flags Over Texas theme park, announced the brand partnership in a news release Thursday, March 12.

“Six Flags parks were a hallmark of my childhood and the scene of some of my most fun and cherished memories, and I’m excited to team up with the company as it enters its next chapter,” Kelce said in the news release.

As a part of the partnership, Kelce will post about Six Flags theme parks (including Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor Arlington) on social media, engage with fans through branded Six Flags eperiences and support theme park marketing initiatives across the country throughout 2026, according to the release.

“[Kelce’s] fun-loving personality, commitment to excellence and passion for the game have contributed to three Super Bowl titles on the field, and we’re confident they will score big with our guests as well,” Six Flags Entertainment president and CEO John Reilly said in the news release.

🔥 In case you missed it…

The news comes about six months after Kelce joined activist investor Jana Partners in an effort to overhaul Six Flags, whose parent company recently merged with Cedar Fair. The company has faced increasing debt pressure since the merger.

Kelce posted about the investment at the time on his Instagram account last October, saying:

“Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to continue the tradition and make Cedar Point and Six Flags even more special for the next generation of families! … So crazy to even imagine this is real, but you gotta love it when life comes full circle.”

Does this new partnership mean Kelce will make a visit to Six Flags Over Texas? Or that his fiancée Taylor Swift might be “Fearless” and ride the Tormenta Rampaging Run roller coaster opening later this year? We’ll have to wait and see.
