After leading the Plano East girls basketball team to its first-ever appearance in the state semifinals last season as a freshman, sophomore Arianna Robinson elevated her game to another level this season.

Averaging 26.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 4.4 deflections and 3.5 steals per game, Robinson led the Lady Panthers to an undefeated District 6-6A championship and a bi-district playoff appearance.

For that success, she was named the district’s Most Valuable player.

Robinson garnered another postseason award Tuesday as she was named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 6A all-state team.
