SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County election officials say a post-election audit of ballots cast in the March 3, 2026, Primary Election confirmed the county’s electronic vote totals.
The Bexar County Elections Department said it has successfully completed the Post-Election Hand Count Audit for the March 3, 2026, Primary Election, and that the hand-count results matched the electronic tabulation results.
Officials said the audit was conducted in accordance with Texas Election Code Section 127.201 and described the process as an additional transparency measure intended to ensure every vote was counted correctly and to strengthen public confidence in the election process.
The department said the results highlight the accuracy and dependability of the voting system and that the audit demonstrates the system operates reliably, with results reported on election night described as accurate and trustworthy.
