AUSTIN, Texas — Today is the last day of South by Southwest. Yesterday, organizers pushed back on claims that the festival could leave Austin. Questions about the festival’s future arose after the Austin Convention Center was demolished and events were spread across downtown Austin this year. But organizers say they are committed to returning to Austin next March.

Yesterday, a famous family helped wrap up the last of the South by Southwest film premieres. Leslie Mann, Judd Apatow and their daughter, Maude, hit the red carpet for the film “Poetic Justice.” It’s the directorial debut for Maude and stars her mother, who says it was a family collaboration. There were 37 red carpet premieres at this year’s festival. While the star-studded red carpets are over, there will be panel discussions, events and activations continuing today in downtown Austin.
