AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin airport expects over 31,000 departing travelers on Wednesday as SXSW enters its final day.
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport says that, though it is not a record-breaking travel day, the terminal is expecting to receive between 5,000 and 7,000 more departing passengers than a normal Wednesday.
The airport asks travelers to arrive at least 2.5 hours before domestic flights and at least three hours before international departures. Additional airport staff will also be on-site to assist passengers, the airport says.
