CROCKETT, Texas (KTRE) – A Houston County jailer has been arrested after he was accused of behaving in an inappropriate sexual manner with an inmate.
Cameron Lee Burch, 20, of Nacogdoches, was held Wednesday at the Houston County Jail on charges of official oppression and violation of civil rights of a person in custody.
The investigation began on Jan. 17 after an inmate reported the incident to a jail sergeant, according to a Houston County Sheriff’s Office release.
