Six Flags Over Texas is reminding guests about its chaperone policy ahead of the Spring Break holiday. Here’s what you need to know.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Six Flags Over Texas wants guests to know: Anyone age 17 and younger needs a chaperone at all times when inside the park during Spring Break.

In a statement, Six Flags Over Texas said it will enforce its chaperone policy through March 22 to ensure a safe, family-friendly environment.

The park requires all guests aged 17 years and younger to be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone aged 21 or older for entry into the park, the statement reads. That chaperone must then stay with the child for the entire duration of their visit, the park said.

“Guests who fail to comply with this policy may be subject to removal from the park and any applicable actions permitted under law,” Six Flags said.

The policy will be enforced from open to close, the statement reads.

A valid government ID is required for all chaperones during their entry into the park, Six Flags said. One chaperone must accompany up to five guests aged 17 or younger.Â
