It’s gonna be May for Dallas CASA’s Parade of Playhouses this year.
The signature event for Dallas CASA, Parade of Playhouses will run from May 22 to June 7 at NorthPark Center. The event has been moved so that it will wrap up before the FIFA World Cup kicks off in mid-June.
Parade of Playhouses features an array of elaborate custom children’s playhouses, which are displayed at NorthPark for 17 days and are available to win by raffle.
“The playhouses are always incredible, with builders pouring their hearts into the design and construction,” said Dallas CASA CEO Kathleen LaValle. “But what’s really incredible is seeing community members make the connection between a fun child’s playhouse and children who might not have a safe or loving home. People come away wanting to learn more about our organization and how they can help children.”
Past playhouses have been designed in the likeness of a cafe, a car wash, movie theater, rocket ships and more.
