EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The front face of a building in Downtown El Paso collapsed onto the sidewalk on Wednesday morning.
According to the El Paso Police Department, the collapse happened at around 9:28 a.m. at the block of South El Paso Street, near the border bridge.
The El Paso Fire Department first reported that the 911 emergency call reported a car had crashed into the building; however, EPPD said the report is inaccurate.
Luckily, no injuries were reported.
It is unclear why the facade collapsed.
