DALLAS — During Women’s History Month, North Texas is making headlines on the court as the Dallas Pulse continues a historic season. 

In an exclusive sit-down interview, Head Coach Shannon Winzer reflected on the significance of being a woman in sports, emphasizing resilience, leadership, and the responsibility of paving the way for future generations. 

Winzer also shared insight into balancing the demands of coaching with family life. 

Players Kelsie Payne and Natalia Valentín-Anderson echoed that sentiment, discussing the discipline and support system required to compete at a high level while maintaining life off the court. 

At the halfway point of the season, the team remains focused and driven, with a strong mindset centered on growth and consistency. 

Adding to the excitement, the MLV Championship is set to take place at the Comerica Center on Thursday, May 7, and Saturday, May 9, giving the Pulse a chance to compete for a title on their home court.
