FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys have placed cornerback Trevon Diggs on IR as he deals with lingering problems in his right knee, team sources confirmed to Cowboys Insider Ed Werder.

Diggs, who was listed as questionable in Friday’s injury report, has now been placed on the injured reserve list, the team announced Saturday. The CB sat out in last Sunday’s win over the Washington Commanders with a concussion, but per team sources, a lingering right knee injury is what prompted the Cowboys to place Diggs on IR.

While Trevon Diggs missed last week’s game because of a concussion, I’m told it was residual problems with his right knee that prompted the #Cowboys to place him on IR today.

The Cowboys also announced center Cooper Beebe will remain on the IR, and safety Juanyeh Thomas will sit out with a migraine. Diggs, Thomas and Beebe will all be unavailable for Sunday’s matchup against the Denver Broncos.
