Meanwhile, Prosper got the win against Princeton on Tuesday by a conclusive 17-1. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Like Plano West, Prosper also got a great game from a two-way player: Peyton Moya. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Moya was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

Another player making a difference was Bella Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Prosper’s victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Plano West, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.
Thursday’s matchup will be a test for both teams’ pitchers. Plano West hasn’t had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .386. However, it’s not like Prosper struggles in that department as they’ve averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
