SAPD: 15-year-old in critical condition after North Side shooting

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A teenager is fighting for his life after a shooting on the North Side Wednesday night.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a shot was fired in the 1700 block of Montview around 9:20 p.m., and upon arrival officers found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the chest.

The teen was rushed to the hospital with what was described as life-threatening injuries. Police say the victim was alert enough to tell police the shooting had taken place in a nearby alley.

There is no word on the teen’s condition as of Thursday morning.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
