Arizona State 27, Houston 23
The Devils will be missing Tyson, who is out with a hamstring injury. He’s not only is ASU’s leading receiver and scorer, he leads the conference in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. But ASU played without him in the Big 12 Championship and the College Football Playoff and still played well.
Houston rushed for 232 yards last week, but Arizona State held Texas Tech to 110 yards on the ground after the Red Raiders piled up 372 yards the week before. It also held Texas Tech to 22 points after they had scored no fewer than 34 previously.
ASU has not lost in Tempe since 2023.
Expect the Sun Devils to win, but the ML odds don’t give you the value you will want.
PASS.
The Devils have not won a conference game by more than 4 points this season. They have played all 3 of their conference games down to the wire.
Houston’s only loss was a 24-point defeat.
BET HOUSTON +7 (-110).
Houston hasn’t scored fewer than 27 points in their 6 wins, but excluding the loss in Utah, Arizona State hasn’t allowed more than 24.
Arizona State’s last 5 games have surpassed 46 points.
Four of the last 5 for Houston have surpassed 46 points.
BET OVER 46.5 (-115).
