Fire and emergency crews were investigating an apparent home fire in Lake Dallas Thursday evening, a blast that also brought natural gas crews to the scene.

According to a statement from Atmos Energy, the energy company’s workers responded to a call by the Lake Dallas Fire Department for an incident at 607 Moseley Street about 7:45 p.m.

“Technicians are on site working with the Lake Dallas Fire Department and other emergency management personnel,” the statement said.

The Lake Dallas Fire Department and the town’s police department did not immediately respond to The Dallas Morning News’ request for a comment. Video from the scene captured by a resident showed a home on fire and residents told NBC 5 (KXAS-TV) that a blast rocked the neighborhood.
