First-ever festival combines live music, local vendors, all-you-can-eat crawfish, and family-friendly fun.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi is getting its very first Crawfish Fest & Saltwater Angler Boat Show this weekend, and locals are in for a treat.

Think live music, crawfish boils, local vendors, and a real taste of coastal culture.

Organizers say the festival is all about bringing the community together. “We love any excuse to support local vendors, artists, small businesses, and even boat dealerships,” said event coordinator Chelsie Rowell. “It’s just a fun way to celebrate and enjoy some delicious crawfish.”

And for those new to eating crawfish? Don’t worry—they’ve got tips. “Just push, twist, and the tail comes right out,” Rowell shared. “And don’t forget the butter—it makes everything taste better and peels super easy. A little spice? Totally optional but highly recommended.”

The festival isn’t just about crawfish. Visitors can browse crafts, hot sauces, candy, signs, and other goodies from local vendors.

“We’ve even heard about people traveling all the way from Waco just to be part of this first festival,” organizers said.

Admission to the grounds is free, so anyone can come, shop, listen to music, and enjoy the coastal vibes. To purchase tickets for the crawfish, click here.

Friday kicks off with the first crawfish boil, and Saturday features all-you-can-eat crawfish—perfect for anyone who loves a little spice with their fun.

The event is shaping up to be a real celebration of everything that makes the Coastal Bend special.
