What’s better than one Hryckowian? How about two?

The Dallas Stars announced Friday they had signed forward Dylan Hryckowian, younger brother of rookie forward Justin Hryckowian, to a two-year, entry-level deal starting in 2026-27.

Dylan will play for the AHL’s Texas Stars for the rest of the season.

Like Justin, the younger Hryckowian played at Northeastern. Last year, he led the team with 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 30 games as a junior and was named to the Hockey East First All-Star team.

Dylan, 21, also played for the USHL’s Cedar Rapids Roughriders before his collegiate career.

Brother Justin has made a name for himself as a rookie, adding needed forward depth for Dallas. While his scoring numbers aren’t flashy (23 points in 67 games), Justin has stood out for his scrappy playstyle, including in a memorable outing against the Edmonton Oilers where he drew four penalties and fought Connor McDavid.
