No. 3 Texas A&M travels to face No. 20 LSU in a critical SEC battle at Death Valley on Saturday. The Aggies are off to their first 7-0 start since 1994 and are in control of their fate to reach the SEC Championship Game more than halfway through the season. Texas A&M has won two of its last three games by three scores. 

LSU is trying to get back on track following a frustrating loss to Vanderbilt. The Tigers were an early favorite to win the national championship but now are teetering on the edge of SEC contention with a 2-2 SEC record. LSU’s running game is averaging only 4.0 yards per carry, and now faces one of the top defensive lines in the country. 

Texas A&M and LSU have split the last eight matchups, with each home team leaving victorious in a 4-4 stretch. Last year, quarterback Marcel Reed came off the bench and ran for three touchdowns in a come-from-behind victory.
