The View Flavor of the Pits and West Texas Triple Crown

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The 2026 West Texas BBQ Triple Crown, an upcoming BBQ cookoff, is seeking competitors.

Funds raised support the Plainview Stars Special Olympics team.

Here are the dates for the cookoffs.

April 10-11: Battle Royal in Muleshoe

July 3-4: Flavor Of the Pits At Sun Set Point 2510 I-27 In Plainview

July 31 – Aug 1: Flames of Freedom in Lamesa
