SAN ANTONIO – A robbery suspect is at large after allegedly threatening employees at a South Side business with a sharp instrument.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon around 3:49 p.m. in the 1900 block of SW Military Drive. SAPD officers responded to a reported robbery involving a Hispanic male entering a business at the location.

The suspect asked to try on multiple pairs of shoes, and when he approached the register, he claimed he had forgotten his wallet and attempted to leave. Employees who intervened were allegedly threatened when the man produced a sharp object before taking off.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
