Donald, along with other teammates from the 1984 Sting team which captured the World Championship in the first FIFA-sanctioned International Women’s Soccer Tournament in Xi’An China. Liam Fox, the current head coach of Sporting Jax, was the former Associate head coach of the SMU women’s soccer team which Donelan was encouraged and accepted the invitation to join the team and played for Fox and the Mustangs Soccer team following the Sting’s International accomplishment. Dallas Sting members were recognized during a ceremony prior to the start of the Dallas Trinity versus Sporting Jax United Soccer League’s Super League soccer match held at the Cotton Bowl on the grounds of Fair Park in Dallas on March 22, 2026.
