EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Ysleta Independent School District will host the Texas Association of College Admission Counseling, which is bringing its Regional College Fair to El Paso for the first time, the district said.
The TACAC El Paso Regional College Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 23 at the Central Office atrium, 9600 Sims Drive.
TACAC is well for its college fairs in major Texas cities, and this inaugural Borderland event marks a milestone for students and families across the region, YISD said.
The free, public fair will connect college-bound students with representatives from more than 20 colleges and universities in one convenient location, including Arizona State University; New Mexico State University; Texas Tech University; Ohio State University; University of Oregon; University of British Columbia; University of Michigan; University of Iowa; University of Minnesota; and others.
The event is open to all students and families in the region and registration is not required for students.
However, students who register in advance by clicking here will receive a personalized barcode to use at the fair. The following day, they will receive a follow-up email with contact information and social media profiles for every college and representative they met.
