MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas (KLTV) — Former Harmony Eagle, Boston Seahorn, drove in three runs in Northeast Texas’ 11-1 win over Bossier Parish in the second half of a doubleheader split on Saturday.
Batting third and starting at shortstop, the sophomore batted 2-for-4 with a run scored. Seahorn had an RBI groundout in the third inning, an RBI double in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the sixth inning.
For Bossier Parish, Hudson Legrow of Lindale pitched 1 2/3 innings of relief, giving up four earned runs on eight hits while striking out three.
Northeast Texas lost the first game 11-5. Drew Flores of Longview had an RBI.
Northeast Texas (17-12, 9-5) hosts McClennan for a doubleheader on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
