EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Portillo’s invites the community to celebrate the opening of its first restaurant in El Paso, which welcomed customers on Monday, March 23.
The famous Chicago-style Grand Prairie restaurant known for its menu of Chicago-style street food is located in far east El Paso.
According to a social post from the restaurant, Tuesday’s event starts at 4 p.m at 12221 Montana Avenue. There will be a live DJ, free prizes, and menu samples.

Their mascot, “Pokey,” will be making a special appearance at the opening.
No tickets needed. Just show up hungry!
