Thirteen candidates will vie to fill the larger Dallas County Board of Supervisors.Voters approved expanding the board from its current three positions to five in November 2024. This will be the first election using new voting districts. Five supervisors will take office in January 2027.Current Supervisor Brad Golightly is not among the candidates. He was first elected more than 10 years ago.Several districts have more than one Republican running; one has two Democrats.
