Dallas Delano Kirk went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Dallas was a member of New Life Baptist Church in White Oak.

Dallas was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Tolbert, sister Macel MacDonald, and in-laws (second parents) Clyde and Lois Pack.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years Cathy, son Matt (Brandy) Kirk of Shady Spring, daughter Michelle (Chris) Cox of Shady Spring and grandchildren Justice Cox, Lily Cox, Christa Kirk and Abby Kirk. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Services To Celebrate The Life Of Dallas Delano Kirk will be held at the Amos E. Quesenberry Chapel of Rose and Quesenberry  Funeral Home in Shady Spring, WV on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 7:00 PM,  with Brother Derick Lester officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. 

Graveside rites and burial will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity, WV on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM. 

Pallbearers will be Tom Shannon, Chris Lester, Justice Cox, Andy MacDonald, Ryan MacDonald and George McKinney.
