ARLINGTON, Texas — A motorcyclist has died following a crash involving a parked vehicle on Woodbrook Street, according to the Arlington Police Department.

The incident occurred on Thursday, March 19, 2026, when officers responded to a single motorcycle crash in the 1200 block of Woodbrook St. Upon arrival, they found an adult male motorcyclist and his passenger, both ejected from the motorcycle. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and succumbed to those injuries on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The passenger, who was wearing a helmet, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations suggest the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Woodbrook St. when the operator attempted to avoid an animal in the roadway and lost control. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin notification has been made, stated the Arlington Police Department.
