HOUSTON — A woman was shot during a robbery in north Houston, according to a post on X by the Houston Police Department.

Police say officers responded to a shopping center on Airline Drive near Buckboard Drive and Aldine Bender Road, where they found the woman shot.

According to Houston police, the woman is expected to survive.

Investigators have not released any information about a suspect or suspects at this time. It’s also unclear what led up to the robbery.
