EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Police Department’s Crime Against Persons unit is investigating the death of a 54-year-old woman that occurred at a hair salon and spa.
Police responded to 745 S. Mesa Hills at 4:47 p.m. on Friday. The address led police to Foliage Hair Salon & Day Spa, where the woman was receiving services.
According to a statement provided by the salon owner, Laura Hajjar Rayborn, employees found the guest unresponsive during their routine wellness check. Rayborn stated that emergency services were immediately contacted, and first responders transported the woman to a local hospital.
The Crime Against Persons unit is investigating the woman’s death as a drowning.
Foliage Hair Salon & Day Spa was permitted to resume operations as of Saturday, March 21.
